Cards vs Cubs

This post is for our favorite Cubbie fans, in case there is any question who are talking about, your daughter's name is the intersection at Wrigley! We thought we should send a picture of the latest Cardinal fan! Well the first meeting is over and we came out ahead 2 games to 1. We'll see what happens next weekend in St. Louis. Nate didn't want you to forget who the WORLD CHAMPIONS are! Love you guys!!!

Kade's new playground

I didn't get the fridge shut all the way and Kade decided he needed to explore. Later on in the week, daddy was fixing the ice maker and Kade snuck in to help and check the fridge out again!

Look Mom I can stand!

This week Kade has started pulling himself up and standing. It doesn't matter where he is. This is the first time he got all the way up. He is hanging onto Sunny's collar, that is what he pulled on to stand up! He now wakes us up in the morning yelling because he is standing in his crib and hasn't perfected the art of sitting down.

Easter at the cabin

Here we are out at the cabin right before the visitors from the north headed home. At the begining of the weekend, Kade had some anxiety about Uncle Chris and Aunt Kristin, but just check out the smile by Sunday.

Hunting Eggs

Kade wasn't really in to hunting the eggs as much as he was into eating them. The "Easter Bunny" came to my parent's house and hid eggs that looked like sports balls. Kade loved them as you can see. Then we headed out to the cabin and hunted the real thing. He did pretty well, but we did drop a couple as you can see in the last picture. We can't wait until next year when he understands a little better and can hunt on his own!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Over Easter weekend Uncle Chris and Aunt Kristin were home and we all colored eggs on Saturday afternoon. Kade just wanted to eat the eggs, so we had to give him a plastic one so he wouldn't get the dye all over his already broken out face! He had a bad allergic reaction to who knows what for Easter. Doesn't it look great!

Like Father, Like Son

I caught the boys hanging out today and cracked up. They both got haircuts last night which isn't that noticeable in the picture, but boy do they look more alike now. They have the same hair line, except Kade's is curly! And then to see them like this watching TV, I think SportsCenter! Could you die!

Spaghetti time

Kade got to try spaghetti over the weekend. Needless to say it was very messy. He also wasn't very fond of it. He kept spitting it out and gagging on it. Better luck next time!

Ballin'

Kade was "helping" me clean his room, he started dumping his container of balls out and playing. Notice it looks like he is going after the basketball, however he is playing with the soccer ball!!! Oh yeah, mommy likes to see that!
